Orpington hen has split down beak

New to raising chickens and noticed this afternoon one hen has a split on the side of her beak with dried blood. Gave more feed to watch her eat and she did just fine. Wondering if she should have a vet visit if they can fix it? Or just leave it be and keep an eye on it?

Ouch! A vet can’t really do anything with a beak like that. Beaks keep growing so after a while it should look normal again.

Nothing bad, it'll heal, & the bit on the side will fall off.
