The
above link shows my new chicks. I'm thinking they are Americauna, Speckled Sussex or some sort of Old English Game. It was straight run.

What do you think? They have a dark brown stripe down their spine, striped eyes, and a little triangle of brown on their heads which initiates the dorsal stripe. Wing feathers already grown are light brown/grey with white speckles. Beaks and feet are yellow orange.

Any guesses on the mystery breed?

They're not Ameraucana, no puffy cheeks! Facebook requires a log-in to view the pictures, I just happend to have an account.

Hope you don't mind! I added them to my photobucket folder so non-Facebook members could see them.

I saw some of those, I think they mixed them in with the black sex link and barred rock. I was wanting speckled sussex anyhow, but the breeder I ordered from locally didn't have any.

Let me ask you this... Do all Americaunas have beards?

They kind of look like Speckled Sussex, but the ones I had were a much deeper red color, so I am not positive.

All Ameraucanas should have beards as part of the breed standard. However, most hatcherys and feedstores would have Easter Eggers, which may or may not have beards.

Since none of yours have beards, I do not think they are EE, as even from a hatchery, some of them will usually have beards. When I have ordered them, I usually got some of both and they aren't usually so consistent in color.
