Our last hen to lay, Barbie, the EE, laid her very first egg on Valentine's Day [IMG] at 27 weeks!

Here she is and her eggs are a beautiful robin's egg blue, while our other EE hen, Slagathor lays olive green eggs...

Congratulations! Wow, what a beautiful color blue! And a gorgeous bird! She is darling, I love the black specks on her. Pretty Barbie.

[IMG] Yeah! Congratulations on the egg. I've got 4 EEs and get the same colours from mine. Aren't they pretty?

You'll love this one. Just had an Ameraucana hen lay her very first egg....at about 45 weeks old! Thought she'd get by on her good looks and winning personality forever, LOL!
    Congrats on the new layer.

Thank you all for the kind words.

I have to give all the props to bugladyleah, who provided me my EE hatching eggs from her stock. They are pretty birds and the egg colors are lovely (blue and olive green)!

...and talk about sweet tempered birds, our EE roo is so gentle with our 7 hens...

45 weeks?! That sounds like one of joebryant's princesses... [IMG]
