Our Microwave DIED!

I'll never replace our current one. For years we had the one that belonged to DH's mom and my smaller one on top of that one. I finally talked DH into giving up the old one and now have only the little one. I use it maybe three times a month.

We had what I believe was my mom's when she was seventeen (I think it was a wedding gift) until I was about eleven.... We cried.

Funny how attached you can get to a kitchen appliance. Though I know I'll cry when the Bosh kicks the bucket.

RIP, microwave.

When I moved out my mom sent the 1983 edition microwave with me. My dad still has the one they bought to replace it now, 9 years later. I think the one DH had when I met him is around 8 years old and still in great shape.

That is very sad. Would you like me to send you flowers? Lol.

Our microwave died a couple of years ago. At first it was very hard doing things. We would be like,"Oh I am going to have some soup... Oh wait a minute, we don't have a microwave" and then we would end up cooking on the stove top. We got so used to cooking on the stove top that when we finally did get a new microwave we felt so spoiled! Haha!

Anyway, I am sorry to hear you aren't feeling well and to hear that your microwave broke.

My MIL's lasted forever. She never used it though, so we called it the bread box because that's all that was ever in it LOL! It had the little rotary dials in the front and was HUGE!
