Good morning IM! It is so good to be able to laugh together...I don't know what I'd do without my man! I'm glad that you have this too. How long have you been together? We are right at 39 years together & in February we will celebrate 36 years of marriage! Marriage takes work & it isn't always easy, but as long as you can laugh together, you can weather anything!

Right...half an egg ...I don't think it would make much difference if you were to use a whole egg, but it's nice to have the option of a smaller bantam egg on hand, just to stick to the recipe!

I hear what you are saying. Phyllis' eggs are like 3/4 of an egg. We will use one of hers for 1/2 an egg.

What a cutie pie. Our children had a pet rabbit when they were very little. It was such a joy.

I was just talking to my husband this morning as we were taking care of the chickens & rabbits and told him that I wished I would have bought 2 Salmon Faverolles! Spazzy is at the bottom of the totem pole and I think it might have been nice if she had another of her own breed. It might not have made a difference...but you never know!

Yes, I should have tried to find another Polish when I added Phyllis. It would be better for her I think. Sadly I had the three hens offered to me and so I took all three so they wouldn't be split up and now I'm full to capacity. If i ever add again, I must get a friend for this lovely lady.

Thank you ladies! Hopefully I will find homes for more of them, but sadly they are getting to the age that I might not be able to! I'm selling them pretty cheap, but I've only had 3 inquiries and just one buyer so far!

Why are they aging out? Don't people want full grown rabbits?

You should have talked the parents into a bunny per kid...that would have helped with your extras.

Mrs BY Bob and I were out to dinner one night and the waitress asked how long we had been married. Mrs BY Bob replied (over 30 years at the time) and the waitress responded "I bet I know why." Mrs BY Bob asked her what she thought the reason was. The waitress never skipped a beat she said, "He makes you laugh every day". To which Mrs BY Bob replied, "absolutely, it is certainly not his looks!"
