I did that one year with one on Hornby islandVery, very cool.
A couple of years ago I got obsessed by the camera they had on an eagles nest in DC. It was amazing seeing them grow and my heart totally missed a beat when the first one fledged and it took her really long time to figure how not to just fall. And the remaining baby spent the next few days on the edge of the nest calling to his sibling and she was stuck on a branch nearby but hadn't figured out how to fly up and back to the nest.
They had raptor experts on line in shifts explaining what was going on.
I couldn't take my eyes off it!
Looks like these ones may soon be ready to leave home if they are flying back and forth from the nest!
Sanskrit I think...I love these names! What language are these?
Marvelous! We had a beautiful sunset tonight & my cellphone camera actually turned out great. Have a good night everyone!

Poor girl!We have been getting some violent weather recently. This was couple days ago 40 miles west of us. All the weather from west eventually reaches us. (usual Weather pattern travel direction).

Yesterday,,, afternoon, a quick storm arrived in a matter in minutes. I was outside doing things, then a few sprinkles,, then a downpour. Wind turned WICKEDIn the time for me to get my dog from backyard into the house,,,, I was soaked. My dog gets very scared of storms and thunder, and heavy rain
,, She was shaking when inside home
,, She is also afraid of fireworks
