Thank you Debby! We must have hit enter close to the same time on our comments...lol! Today is definitely a better day! That all sounds good Rene, much better news than the past couple of days!
Welcome, I'm glad that you found me!He is doing so well now, I've been giving him electrolytes! He's running around with the rest of the flock and even ate some food out of my hands, I will have to try the hard boiled eggs, someone else also suggested that! I also have some yogurt for him! I think I will bring him in later and give him a chance to eat without everyone else crowding around.
My Faverolle seems to be doing well, she and Little Roo were the ones that the other chicks were pecking at earlier in this journey. Thank goodness that issue is over! I'm hoping she will hold her own, I probably should have bought a second one, but I only have so much room in my coop!![]()
Thank you!So glad your little man is feeling bettter!
Most folks don't realise how fragile the little guys can be, kind of have to look out for them.
I think your Faverolles will be just fine in your mix, I was just curious because they're a wee bit dramatic.
Two might sound nice but they are pains in the rump in groups sometimes "I know lol"![]()
I put one of the hens in with him and that really helped! When chicks are being isolated sometimes it helps a lot to give them a stuffed animal to cuddle with. They they don't feel so alone.
Think I could use a stuffed animal myself![]()
