Our Mixed Flock Journey!

Excellent recycling
With hindsight and seeing all your lovely deep nesting boxes I realize I should have used the base cabinets which are deeper. I used the wall cabinets which are only 12" deep which is a bit of a tight squeeze for a large lady like Maggy.
She seems quite happy laying her eggs in there and maybe she even likes the small confined space, but whenever I open the door on her when she is laying it feels like a lot of fluffy hen spills out!

Good morning everyone!

Rene, sounds like there's a lot going on with the home projects. It's going to be beautiful when all done!
Good evening Debby!

It's definitely constant motion around here! I hope it turns out the way I have it in my mind...hubs has added a couple of touches that he likes...I'll share those when we get it done!

When we redid the kitchen, DH took the old cabinets and put them to use in his work shop. Very handy (and cost saving) to have them.

We try to repurpose everything we can. A lot of the older things seem to have been better made than the new stuff.
We are doing the same thing. We also had some cabinets in the garage from our first home! We finally got rid of one of them...it really wasn't well built, but it served us for over 30 years. We repurpose everything we can.

@drstratton I’m so sorry about your husbands aunt. Safe travels when you go to Montana :hugs:hugs
It seems your projects are moving along at a nice pace, I can’t wait to see everything when you’re done!
Hi IM! Thank you so much! :hugs :love

I know it's going along pretty well, but I am ready for it to be finished...I just need to focus on each project and be happy when they are done and then one day...it will all be done!
