With hindsight and seeing all your lovely deep nesting boxes I realize I should have used the base cabinets which are deeper. I used the wall cabinets which are only 12" deep which is a bit of a tight squeeze for a large lady like Maggy.Excellent recycling
Good evening Debby!Good morning everyone!
Rene, sounds like there's a lot going on with the home projects. It's going to be beautiful when all done!
We are doing the same thing. We also had some cabinets in the garage from our first home! We finally got rid of one of them...it really wasn't well built, but it served us for over 30 years. We repurpose everything we can. When we redid the kitchen, DH took the old cabinets and put them to use in his work shop. Very handy (and cost saving) to have them.
We try to repurpose everything we can. A lot of the older things seem to have been better made than the new stuff.
That makes absolutely no sense at all, but I think most people just don't know! That is so true. Imagine how many people have replaced solid wood cabinets with flakeboard ones over the years and just thrown them away.
I agree! When we got home from town this evening she was out running with the flock...so maybe, she's finished...A month is a very long time. I would consider breaking her.
That's a great use of them! I love your Chicken Palace!I used my old cabinets to make the nesting boxes in the Chicken Palace.
