Good morning all! I will be scarce again today! We are hoping to complete the tile install, then we will start building scaffolding so that we can install the new kitchen window. We are getting closer, but we will definitely not finish before we go on vacation! I'm torn, I'm ready to get away, but I really want to get this kitchen finished, oh well, it's set in stone or in reservations that we will be hitting the road. Hopefully we won't have any issues on the window install.

Thank you Debby! We are leaving on the the 25th & will get home on May 8th. We're going to Las Vegas for 3 nights for golf, then we are going to visit Zion, Bryce & Arches National parks, Crystal Hot springs in UT & our last stop will be McCall ID, hubs wants to play golf at Jug Mountain.

We finally have all of the tile down. We won't put the grout in until after we repair the sheetrock (you can see it in the pictures), paint the walls & install the new window. The list is getting smaller...yay!

There is something inherently messed up about that.

Designed obsolescence is a real thing. Apple got caught forcing the issue with software updates because the hardware was too reliable. Every 2 years they want you upgrading.

It will be a nice getaway! I think we are cramming a lot in, we're probably going to be a little tired. Next trip I plan on driving to and staying in one location for a bit!

Have you considered a tractor so you can locate in different spots. ?
Have half of it covered with light tarp, so if it rains, bunnies can stay dry.
