total out of pocket. It might help that I work at a farm store and get a really good discount and have relatives that donated lots of stuff. But still really cheap coop. And I think really cool! Now the run might be another story. Haven't figured that one up yet. Posts to follow.
You're welcome. I have learned so much from lurking here last winter, that I felt I should contribute what I could. My DH is a great carpenter and can always figure out a cheaper way of doing things. We weren't sure the chickens would work out so we didn't want to put alot into a coop. But I was so impressed the cuteness? [is that a word] of them all, that I wanted one.
