This injury looks like it was caused by his own overgrown spurs.
Please post pictures of his spurs and entire legs.

You could use a dremel tool to cut the spurs which will at the same time be cauterised so there will be no bleeding nor infection afterwards.

thanks for this feedback, this is what his spurs look like :

No wonder he is injuring himself!

His straight inward growing spurs need to be trimmed ASAP as with every step he takes they scrape along the joint of the other leg leaving it bruised and inflamed. Use a Dremel to do it quickly and without any bleeding.

But tape his toes together before you start working on him, so you will not accidentally hurt them while cutting his spurs off. You can bundle him up in a towel leaving just his legs sticking out which helps to keep him quiet and still during the procedure.

Here is one example:

Thank you so much !!!
any suggestion on how to help heal the injury? ?
we’ve cleaned and disinfected it and wrapped it.
After cutting the spurs off, just clean the injured legs well and treat with antibiotic ointment and it should heal up although the tissue might remain somewhat thickened. I would not wrap it as this can cause other problems i.e. necrosis from bandaging getting too tight etc.
