When I got up at 0430, it has updated to say they left Montgomery at 1100pm. They are here. All alive. PO worker was again hostile when I asked them to cut the binding so I could check them

Glad you got them safe and sound. Your PO sounds like they have don't like doing their job, jeesh.

This batch should be 5 KC female, 1 KC male, 4 Magpie female, and 1 Magpie male. I’m going to run a wire down the big brooder when we clean it today and put the babies in one side. I’m really liking the wire bottom, no mess now. And they mostly are walking on weeds and grass because my little boy gets them weeds all the time. Hubby is in flight to Atlanta now and thrilled he doesn’t have to rent a car and go find them! Have to think about complaining, small town and all that . Think next batch I will have shipped to my mom, her mail goes through Tallahassee or Panama City and she’s known her postal employees her whole life haha.

Well, we put wire down the middle of the brooder, zip tied it except at the very bottom where the wood was in the way. I went to the bathroom and half the new babies had integrated themselves with the olders! So I took it down and now they're just 18 ducks and two geese making lots of noise! Everyone is eating and drinking well, praying we don't lose any, these magpies are flippin' adorable, hubby is in love LOL. He can't wait to get home to see them.
