Definitely lay on the side and Candle from the fat end of the egg directly into the pointy end in a dark room. If alive the babies move.

Haha then I did it right, I candled all of them and didn’t see any movement

Hmmm? Definitely make sure nothing is alive because you will kill them opening them.
