Oyster shells

I wonder how they get it so white? Oyster and clam shell has a lot of color to it. The thing about these minerals and the shells is that they can be dissolved in acid and then the calcium re-precipitated.

My manna pro is not white, it's a grayish color - not pretty or pearly white.

Sorry, I'm thinking of the bright white little rocks in a one or two pound bag. I'll have to look it up what it's called.

For a while I played around with avian calcium supplement. It's a very fine white powder that will stick to any crumble or pellet

It looks to be ground limestone rock. All these things are just different forms of calcium carbonate.

Yes, I’m trying it. Ducks don’t seem to like it.
