I wonder how they get it so white? Oyster and clam shell has a lot of color to it. The thing about these minerals and the shells is that they can be dissolved in acid and then the calcium re-precipitated.

It looks to be ground limestone rock. All these things are just different forms of calcium carbonate.I'm on a quest for good oyster shells and the Scratch and Peck site is out, but they direct to this limestone calcium product.
