My about 6 week old call hurt his toe today. He was out playing and they were all doing lots of wing flapping and running. I was watching sporadically but was right there so couldn't have missed much, tripped on the hose maybe?

Bad limp, tail pushed down toward the ground, reluctant to walk much but still swims(while holding his leg up). He's picking up his foot and shaking it from time to time also.

He's got a slightly swollen and discolored toe joint. Everything seems to be in place as it should.

Can I give him baby aspirin and if so how much? I can weigh him tomorrow but he's a slightly bigger than average call.

Eats flock raiser plus nutritional yeast, with a few hours a day to graze.

If it were mine, I wouldn’t give him anything for it. Maybe restrict his activities for a few days so he isn’t trying to run and keep up with the others.
Thank you I'll keep them in tomorrow so he takes it easy. Maybe he'll be feeling better tomorrow, at least he didn't get worse before bed time.
