Panicking! Advice please!!!!

The foot improved on the towel in the brooder and that one has found the spot w the temp it likes in brooder.

I don’t know if the others are awake. It’s hard for me to tell in that picture but the membrane does look very hard. When you wet the membrane, does it get soft or stay rock hard?

Is it still yawning or chewing?

If you don’t see any veins and it isn’t yawning or chewing, you could probably safely remove a bit more shell. If you see any veins under the shell immediately stop

Stays hard. Not yawning anymore

I have been using oil but perhaps warm water would be better for softening it?
