I am so sorry for you loss. Time will heal your heart.
I lost a 16 yr old dog last year and an 8.5 yr old one just a few weeks ago.

Thank you everyone for your heartfelt words. Only pet lovers like ourselves understand what I am going through.
To TheKindaFarmGirl: That is just an absolutely terrible situation you are in. Would be good if you could get Cesar Milan to work with him! Is the law making you put him down or taking him away? Did you/can you try to have someone work with him, some type of a dog trainer? Has he ever been aggressive with you? What kind is he? At least mine had a full life at 16 years old - - that is really heartbreaking to have to put a young dog down. Could there be a reason he's aggressive, pain, formerly abused, or any other possiblities you can think of?
Status of Budgie: I said this morning that I hadn't seen the Budgie and that I was on my way out and was going to check if I see him outside. Well, I am glad to say that I did see him after waiting out there a few minutes and putting the bird seed out for all of the birds. It took about 5 minutes but in he came flying right over my head again landing on a branch. He sat there as I talked to him and tried to coax him down again, but he wasn't having it, LOL, He is awfully cute though I must say. I think I may just have to catch him to save his life ha?
Not just guilty, you could find yourself on the end of criminal charges or litigation.I love my dog very much but at the same time cannot imagine how guilty I would feel if he mauled or killed somebody because I couldn't make the right decision.![]()

It's awful. We had a dog when I was a kid that was "crazy". It was a cocker spaniel and it had some "thing" that affects cocker spaniels where they just go "nuts" all of a sudden. My mother never got another dog after he had to be put down.
I had a rescue dog who had "issues". My vet said that some dogs just "aren't wired right".
I'm sorry that you are going through this, but you really don't have any option. You can't rehome a "dangerous dog". It's very sad.
often those "just nuts" dogs actually have epilepsy and sometimes the people do something so insane the dog has a right to bite.... I am sorry your having to loose a dog
no matter length of time the pains is very real
need a new vet dog's can be treated same as people do we put the people down? just my humble opinionMy dog Buddy actually did have three grand mal seizures a couple years ago. Vet wasn't sure why. I think it's possible he has some problem, but it's too late.![]()
