he is a pretty good sized bird - alot bigger than I thought he would be for a conure ( I keep thinking of Sun conure size but this guy is much bigger than that )
He does not actually play with the hooks he likes to walk on them and knock everything to the floor !!! I am ALWAYS having to pick everything up - drives me crazy
the other day he was on the counter where I was doing some paperwork and he was grabbing my pen ( looked like a drunk person was doing my work for me )
he is alot of fun he reminds me of a 2 yr with feathers ! so far he is not talking but makes a clicking noise sounds like someone might have been training him or another animal with one of those clicker things ?? he loves to make this noise while riding on my shoulder right in my ear
he is great to play with and hang out with when the store is empty and all the other critters have been taken care of
it just was a surprise to see how willing he is to go to people he does not know
he was showing off a bit today - we had his door shut while we were doing cage clean up today on all the animals and he was hanging by his beak from the top of cage barely opening and closeing his wings ( looked like someone fanning themselves with thier hands on hot days )
I told him if was pretending to be a bat he needs to hang the other way
