Yesterday for an afternoon snack I fed my chickens scrambled eggs with eggshell and oats. They loved it!

I was thinking I will treat my chicks and Hazel over the weekend. I love watching them get so excited.

Update:
We've found a home for Mewt!
Though they still need to build the coop and get the hens, so he'll be staying a little while longer.

Nothing much has been going on but you can definitely tell its spring now!

Nothing much has been going on, but I'm getting very stressed because my poor hens are getting overmated too much. It's really taking a toll on the poor loves, I hope Mewt goes to his new home soon.

I fear I may be heading down your path... As we put the birds into crates to move to their new house. I was counting way too many cockerels. I need to let them grow out and get a read on temperament, size, and appearance before they go to the bachelor pad.
