Partridge Brahmas in the US?

Please understand I really don't care what sort of chickens anyone else raises but I'm curious. What's the fascination with birds bred to the British Standard? Is it just to have something no one else has?

My boys are growing up! They have just in the last couple of weeks started to crow (and mount the hens), so soon, soon, soon!

I don't care much for the British Standard, it's just that they tend to have a couple things in Brahmas that I like more - Such as a little more leg length and a bit more of a "rump" going on. To me, some Light Brahmas in particular here are just too level at the back, which of course is not what the standard asks for, but the leg thing is my big concern. Most Brahmas I see in the US have short legs.
