amber has realy nice color both have pretty good type for being non beared i would buy nice bearded male to breed them to beardeds have the best type

Thanks, Yes I like her but, I have one at home that has alittle less brassy to her I think probably would have done better but, I swear you never know until you go to the show and see who is judging

Of all the shows I've been to in the northeast all seem to be consistant with judging but, the Congress was basically the total opposite of what I've been seeing! weird

The little one that didn't place is on the small side at only 8 months of age. Her sis is a bit bigger good eye

Maybe I need to ask what you mean by "brassy."

My use of the word may not be the same as others but, when I say my particular hen is too brassy, I mean she has a heavy gold appearance in color vrs. one with more black dark undertones. My use of the word may not be correct but, I just can't think of any other way to explain it, if ya know what I mean

Your just referring to the fact she's more copper/red based than the others.
