Walmart has them for pretty cheap! I just looked the other day just for curiosity lol they actually have like smart ones and stuff now I think you can stream with and also you should get a TV! They’re pretty cheap now, even the smart and/or HD ones, and Walmart has small ones for reasonable! I would definitely get one haha and we have an actual DVD player I think and I think it might be Blu Ray too but we usually just use the actual TV or streaming stuff. I like Sony, Samsung, etc. but I don’t think one brand is particularly better. I think they’re all pretty similar now but idk.

Thanks I’ll look into that. We live so far from the road that we have limited internet. I think 15-20GB per month so we wouldn’t be doing much streaming.

I have DVDs that a friend gave me. I’m not really enthused to watch em (but I don’t want her to one day ask me about them ) it’s a preacher preaching I think, no idea.

And that makes sense!! That’s nice you could probably just get a plain DVD player and plain TV for pretty cheap then since most people want the fancy stuff hahah not even sure they make plain ones anymore but even the other ones have come down in price a lot hahah I think you should just get a little TV and little DVD player from Walmart! Or maybe even a laptop? But idk if most have CD slots anymore. I don’t think so. They make the little portable type DVD players too with the screen but those are quite small.

I need a DVD player. My sisters said they use their game stations as a DVD player (Xbox and PS#)

Do you guys use real DVD players? May just go to Walmart and buy one. Just curious if a certain brand is better or whatever.

I don’t own a TV so I may just take this DVD player to my MIL’s house or finally give in and buy a small TV after all these years

Yeah, I’m sure it’s not true for every single cat and I’m sure there’s mean orange ones, dumb tuxedos, nice calicos, or whatever other color traits people say there are, etc. BUT I have met several orange males and owned two and every single one was a huge love bug and extremely friendly and nice. Ours would sit in your lap all day if you let them. Most people I know with orange males have said the same thing too so I do think there might be something to it. Or maybe just a coincidence, idk. But I haven’t met a mean one yet BUT I am sure some DO exist and I would never advocate picking a cat solely on color.

If going with an adult where temperament is already evident, then pick one with a friendly, good temperament regardless of color. Kittens are of course a bit harder to do that with. I do think males in general though, not just orange ones, are a bit friendlier or at least looser with their affection LOL my cat is very sweet when she wants to be but if she doesn’t, watch out the males would climb on anybody lol although my girl is great for the vet and techs, groomers, etc. whereas most cats aren’t so idk. Females can definitely be nice.

Nothing is set, of course, but I’m just basing it off my experiences with the cats we had. Our orange male was the best cat so much so that my brothers constantly compared Luna to him at first and hated her they’ve mostly come around lol

Our male was also raised by our dog we had at the time so that may have contributed to his friendliness too more so than color lol whereas with Luna it was the other way around - she was in the house first and we brought a puppy in - so they were never really super close like Mittens and Bailey were haha
