Darn!

I used to not do it that often but I’ve been brushing it a lot more lately and the conditioner is helping too but it’s still so dry and annoying! Even when I brush it a ton, it will get tangled again as soon as it dries and curls or I wake up! LOL

Oh wow! I’m lucky mine isn’t that bad lol but I literally have had to cut pieces out of it because it will just not be brushed or shampooed out no matter how hard I try! A comb is a good idea but for me it seems like it splits them? Idk? They separate more when brushing than with a brush. But I only brush wet lol

Do you start at the bottom and brush the ends out first? Then go up a bit and brush out that bit until you get to your roots? Someone suggested that to me and it works well. I used to have nasty rats nests too and this method seems to help.

of course my mom washed, conditioned, and rolled our hair every night from approximately 18 months old until we were able to wash and condition our own hair and still dried and rolled it until we were teenagers. Favorite conditioner was Tame

Use shampoo/conditioner in one bottle or shampoo then conditioner. Using shampoo only is bizarre. My hair is less than 1/2” long at all times (what’s left of it) and even I know what conditioner is!!!!

Personally, I gently squeeze out as much water as I can then wrap it in a hair turban. That gets it to just damp. Then I just let it air dry.

I know that would equal the “waiting” but I don’t do that way in purpose because then the conditioner runs everywhere and you gotta get it off.

Do you not squeeze out your hair held away from your body? I always tip my head back so my hair hangs down and squeeze it out away from my body so it doesn't get on me.
