Sadman...schooled me.Yes you can use curdled milk (milk plus lemon juice) as a substitute for buttermilk but it will not be as thick so you may want to use a little less than the recipe calls for. I prefer to use thinned down plain yogurt as a substitute for buttermilk because it mimics both the consistency and acidity.![]()
