Quick question: do y'all know that you can make buttermilk with regular milk and lemon juice?

I knew that you could sour/curdle milk with acidic liquids, but buttermilk is made differently and has a different taste.

Did not know, but now I do. I've never had a recipe ask for buttermilk so I don't ever use it.

Don't get me started on cheese. That stuff is weird.

I'd love to learn to make cheese, but I just feel like it's a lot of work. Maybe one day I'll look into making cheese just for fun.

I want to learn to make my own food from scratch that way I'll actually be more selective with what I eat and eat less of it because I wouldn't wanna make more
