pasture pens.

Actually, I have it even better than that. I teach at a vocational high school. The welding class put
this together for me. What you see there only took them an hour or so. I just had to pay for the
materials. The cost of 20 pieces of 1/2 emt 10' was only $40.

Heres a pic of the frame before hanging the wire:

I got my pen home today. I put a 8x10 tarp on it with bungee cords just to test it out.

I need to get a bigger tarp. 8x10 is not going to work. I will get maybe a 10x12 and see if
it works better. Then I will attach it at each grommet with a plastic zip tie. I will leave one
corner attached via bungee cord so I can open it to add food and water.

Here are some temporary test occupants:

Done!

Finally got the right size tarp on it. I needed a 10x12 to do it right. That let me cover the back completly.
This way they have some protection from the wind. Its held on by plastic zip ties everywhere except
one corner. That corner is held on with bungee cords so I can add food and water. I'm very pleased
with the outcome and will only make a few adjustments to the next one I build.

- Increase the size of the conduit that contacts the ground from 1/2 to 3/4. Should make it last longer.
- Add a 3rd skid in the middle. It drags the ground there a bit
- Change the braces in the corners to allow easier access for food and water.
- change the handle to allow the tarp to fit better
- Put in mounts for feeder and waterer
