Is it true too much protein causes pasty butt?

Usually it’s caused by stress or overheating but it can also be caused by improper diet.

What is the temp in their brooder and what do you feed them?


I too say temp is the first thing to look at.

A week and younger. They don't have it right now but it was just a question in general. My temp right now is right at 90F. They've been going under the light off and on. I have 1 warm side and 1 cooler side and theve been under each side about half and half.

Oh ok, I was thinking you were having this problem now.
I am glad you are not.
Keep an eye on your temp...you can start to lower it down already.

I think you should lower it down to 85 for a few days first.
Every few days lower it a little.
