For several years now I've given our friends, family and some neighbors goody baskets at Christmas. Then I expanded it to give delivery people some goody bags.
We are going through some of the worse times in our Dairy business and will be losing it, and trying to move on. Something that helps me is to not focus on myself but thinking of doing something nice for someone else.
This is not for prizes or glory, but for encouragement. Please join and post!
You wouldn't believe how grateful people are to get a little treat to brighten up their day! Sometimes people don't feel appreciated at all, I just want them to know someone cares.

I've went to the dollar store to pick up inexpensive sweatshirts for our garbage men, gloves for our UPS driver, and thick warm socks for the FedEx driver.

I used to do similar things, but life has made me cynical these past few years and I quit doing these things.
