Well thats good! I heard of a fella here in the states selling hatching eggs 1k a piece which is crazy if true especially so if they were to have a low hatch rate
Hatching eggs do tend to have a lower hatch rate due to shipping.

$1,000 an egg is pretty steep, especially with them being in the states now. I get they're not common here in the States yet, but they'd probably find more people willing to hatch, & breed to increase population if they brought it down to more of a Malay Market level of $30 - $31 per egg, or Chick.

Here's Goliath's baby.

Giving my Aunt the Dun Partridge Malay Chick since I've already got 3 Dun Partridge Adults, a Cock, a Hen, & a Pullet.
Plus it's lacking in the traits I need for the project. Decent Malay traits, but not enough for the Parrot Beak.

I will be counting tail feathers on Goliath's son since number of Tail Feathers is crucial for the breed. 40-50 is what's preferred in their country, so yeah. Sticking to the Indian Standard.

The video of the standard was turned private, but at least I memorized the majority of what traits are desired.

Would you be willing to share what you remember of the standard?

40 to 50 total? Or just in the main tail? That would be a lot.

They describe it better then I do, so I'll go over all I can remember.

Must Have: Short Parrot Like Beak.

Comb must be either Stawberry, or Pea Comb, Single Comb isn't desired.

Feathering must be dense, & hard skin should be tight against the body.

Neck should resemble a Cobra.

A tail of 40 - 50 feathers(Apparently it increases quality)

Saddles on back must blend into the tail.

(I'll edit once I remember more, but that's it for now.)
