Was in the middle of counting tail feathers, & mom interrupted me a few times. Will try again here in a few.

The chick decided to be wiggly this time. So may attempt again tomorrow, or maybe when he gets a bit older. He's got a ton of tail feathers.

Still won't cooperate, but that's alright. I can wait till he's bigger to count. Looks like over 50 tail feathers though as a rough estimate.

He's got about 2 layers of feathers, & they stretch all around the entire tail.

I'll try to get updated pictures of the rest. Goliath's chick is so far the only one that's easiest to handle.

Poor lighting. But here's Big Blue's chick. Had to hold this one still. Also she was my runt.
