I didn't, was kinda forced too since my uncle only built two coops, & I have 3-4 breeder flocks.

Im sorry to hear that maybe next year then! The struggles if only we all had enough time, space, and resources for the chicken ideals in our heads

Mine are more rare in the states then the ones bred to SOP,

Idk, the ones bred to SOP are very rare, I've only seen a handful. But yours are very beautiful!

Rare yes, but not as rare as the imported lines.

My Funky Grey Malay hen got a limp. Thinking sprain, so I gave her a half of a baby aspirin to see if that's what it is. If it isn't a sprain, then maybe it could be the early stages of riboflavin deficiency.

It is abit chaotic in the coop due to there being so many birds, so a sprain seems more likely.
Once we move out, birds will be separated, & placed in properly sized coops.

The coop they are in is fine for about 6-10 chickens, but not 22.

My big Malay hen that I've had since 2021 isn't doing well. I think she maybe badly constipated cuz I haven't seen her poop, so I'm treating her for that just in case. But it maybe water belly, which is the one thing I hope it isn't. Her abdomen is abit distended. This came on suddenly, her belly was perfectly normal a week, or two ago.

Okay, the Malay hen with the bum leg that I thought had a sprain, has a vitamin deficiency, more then likely riboflavin deficiency.
She recovered alittle bit during treatment for a sprain, but I also gave extra vitamins just in case, & during that first round of treatment she had improvement. Since I stopped because I thought it was because the sprain was healing, she's back to gimpy leg/foot. At least I now know what it is.
