@zazouse , I will try to remember to put the English version on my posts so you can see what is being said. I'd be so confused if Othman were posting in Arabic, I wouldn't even know how to get it into google translate...

And I LOVE that kitty

Bon matin, Jacky!

Good morning, @Jack07 !

I think that @DylansMom wanted to say that from time to time, we become a bit confused so if you wish to respond to a specific post, it may be easier to select "quote" before typing your response. That will alert the person who wrote the preceding post to read your post. Sometimes posts become lost among the others.

I continue to be so happy that you have joined us!

Yippee :weee

Jacky, a pea-person from France, has posted back on the UPA forum that he will join us over here at BYC.  But he is concerned about his lack of English speaking skills.

I told him not to worry about it.

Who else speaks French (not that mine is all that great), so I can tell him there's folks who can help with the translations?

(I've been using a combination of what I remember plus checking to see what Google translate gives me...  and getting by with that.  Being old, my French is rusty :old and out of date :gig

silver Pied: A pattern in which the bird is primarily white \vith splashes of color intermixed. The amount of color may vary bird to bird. Silver pied pattern also carries a white eye expression in which all tail feathers will be white eyed. The silver pied carries a silver pied gene, a white gene, and tags on a white eye gene.
Je discute sur Facebook avec Jay et voici une nouvelle formule :
Silver Pied = SP/W//We/We et ...
P/W//We/We devient Pied White Eyed !!!! Mais Dani 12 n'est pas d'accord il me parle sur le forum français d'un We sp ( !!! sp = spécial )
Ensuite Dani 12 est d'accord Pied White Eyed est bien P/W/We/We
Je pose la question sur le forum UPA et je fais la connaissance de IhROW (Garden Peas) qui me parle de SILVER Pied = P/W//Wesp/Wesp
Merci donc de m'éclairer sur ce sujet

Bonjour @Jack07 ,

Until July for me and Dani 12 Silver Pied was symbolized by the following formula: P / W / We / We
I am a member of UPA and so I subscribed to "Peafowl Today"
In this magazine I discovered a Jay Louden article that says:
silver foot: A pattern in the bird qui est Primarily white \ vith splashes of color intermixed. The Amount of Color May Vary bird to bird. Silver foot pattern aussi caries a white eye expression in all qui tail feathers Will Be eyed white. The silver foot caries a silver foot gene, a white gene, and tags on a white eye gene.
I chat on Facebook with Jay and here's a new formula:
Silver Pied = SP / W // We / We and ...
P / W // We / We became Pied White Eyed !!!! But Dani 12 does not agree he speaks on a French forum We sp (sp = Special !!!) Then Dani agrees Pied White Eyed is P / W / We / We
I ask the UPA forum and I met IhROW (Garden Peas) that tells me about SILVER Pied = P / W // Wesp / Wesp
So thank you to enlighten me on this subject
