Your boy is pretty!

He looks rather like an Indian Blue, but I don't have any personal experience with Purples. It seems that Purple is very difficult to capture in photos. Hopefully the experts can chime in, and perhaps more photos will help? Your other girl looks like an IB to me, too.

Any thoughts on the color of this peachick?? It is about a week old and was all yellow the evening it hatched, this is the way it has looked since the next morning! My thoughts are black shoulder, I am not sure which hen it is from, although I only have one peacock.. I have more hatching through the month of August.

That's really nice to know! I have 5 more and more hatching and incubating which means I have a good chance of getting the bs ib I have been wanting! Sadly I thought I already had one, but thanks to a member for correcting me I honestly couldn't tell them apart as far as color/ name variations! You are all teaching me a lot and I sincerely thank you very much saves me from embarrassing myself!
