Two peachicks hatched normally last night. Moved to brooder late at night and everything seemed fine. This morning one chick is fine but the other has a leg pointing straight forward if I put it down. I am able to easily move the leg and it doesn't seem to cause pain to chick. The leg can be put into the proper position but doesn't stay that way. Suggestions for help please.
I feel like I have just been posting about problems and have to remind myself of the other successful peachicks that have hatched this year. Currently have 12 of them in my spare bedroom waiting for pick up.

Leg is in splint. I don't think I could have taken better pics than the ones posted by casportpony. I'm making sure it is eating and drinking on a regular basis.
The reason I asked is that most of the time it is not a leg issue at all. Chicks that have not used all of the yolk will have a large bubble butt that keeps them from gaining their balance. They will set on their rump with one or both legs stretched out in front of them. Some will process the yolk in a few hours or it might take a day or two. The longer it takes them to process the yolk they can get stiff-legged and will need to be braced. Our method of dealing with leg and toe issues is to tape the legs and feet to the bottom of a cardboard for 12 to 24 hours while the egg is processed and this will also fix any pending toe or ankle issues at the same time.

I took splint off so I could send pics. The eggs shell was dry and empty but could it be internally absorbing yolk?. I put the splint back on as shown in last picture. Not sure if I am doing it correctly as it pulls his foot up. Should I somehow be taping the leg so it is in proper position under the wing as if it was lying down?
