Oh, that's hard

Don't give up yet -- I've had several this year that I would have sworn were dead or not going to make it, and that are now running around the brooder. That whole "laying low" for a day or so before progressing sometimes gets me really worried, and then a couple of them have just seemed to need a lot more time than I would have expected.

Happy hatchday for #15

Little #15 got stuck and came out a little lopsided but seems to be straightening out fairly quickly

@Blue Creek , this is another one from the young SP hen

There's a lot more white on the chick than you can see in the photos. There are more of her eggs in the incubator. I am quite overrun at the moment. @DylansMom , are you sure I can't send you some eggs? For only having two hens that laid, those girls certainly got after it.
