Not so good for the green side of things, 1st green egg, did not develop, 2d green perch bomb not broken but, also did not develop. I tried putting hay under her perches but no matter where I put it, she would get spooked and roost somewhere else so the 3rd perch bomb exploded. I figured as much from this hen she is young. Ive got 13ea spalding over pieds under some hens and ive got 12 days until first light, (I hope) and still waiting on more greens to step it up and lay.

Love the perch bombs... maybe a different bedding would be less threatening? Too funny, spooked by straw

The chicks are learning to ride on Momma's back

They are also fluttering around, but not flying well enough to follow her to the roost. She's tried a couple of times... she'd really like them to fly up there
