She actually does have a hand full of splotched white feathers on her back and wings you just can't see them very well in the picture. Is the white eye breed on the rare side? It sounds like she's a special lady She is very beautiful I love her coloring it is almost a silver gray hue very pretty.

If that is the case I would say she is definitively full white eye. White eye is not all that rare anymore. It is more rare when not combined with pied.

These are my 4 peababies. I'm pretty positive there is 1 India Blue male his neck is more of the deep blue in the picture his name is Brock. 1 Pied and thinking she is a female and the other 2 I'm assuming are India Blues and at 1 point I was positive that they were both female but now I'm not sure anymore?? Need opinions and expertise, what does everyone think?

Knock Knock you did but they are babies so until they get their big pea feathers i would not say spaldings ...but who knows anymore so much mixing going on and them not being registered with DNA a pedigree we are at the mercy of ones word if they even know.

Yeah, some peachicks will have crests like splading crests but they are not spalding!

But i also agree that one of the hens is a low percentage spalding, even the male could be spalding.

What tells you this? they are babies and haven't yet finished molting,
my 3rd generation spaldings hens had dark feathers on their breast and their tail feathers had a green sheen to them at 7 months but i already knew they were spaldings, i sold them as i am trying to keep my line as blue as possible, i still have a white spalding peacock that will turn 3 next july if i do not sell him and catch him trying to mate i will pen him up ,but folks say whites don't have much luck with the ladies unless they are the only peacock in the pen or on the range so hopefully there will be the case with him

I quit talking about spaldings just because lots of IB birds really are but where there are vertical crests and scalloped necks (boys) there is green blood.

Her scaled neck feathers look more like a spalding, peahens usually likes colored peacocks more, i heard some breeders will block the whites peafowls pens so the hens will just see their white peacock.

All that brown looking .... for me it's enough to say it's a spalding !
