What tells you this? they are babies and haven't yet finished molting,
my 3rd generation spaldings hens had dark feathers on their breast and their tail feathers had a green sheen to them at 7 months but i already knew they were spaldings, i sold them as i am trying to keep my line as blue as possible, i still have a white spalding peacock that will turn 3 next july if i do not sell him and catch him trying to mate i will pen him up ,but folks say whites don't have much luck with the ladies unless they are the only peacock in the pen or on the range so hopefully there will be the case with him
