Peahen sitting on Non fertile eggs.

How long should I let her keep sitting? I had the eggs in incubator for a week, when not fertile, was going to scramble them, but felt sorry for the hen sitting on dud eggs so gave them to her. Should I remove them or wait until she tires of nothing developing?

If the eggs aren’t fertile, then remove them and destroy the nest.
It would be a waist of her time and energy to sit on dud eggs.

Are peacocks fertile outside of the season ???

Eggs laid by an early layer... she laid in February last year too. This year, I DID witness the mating. Males all had full tails in February... this in MinneSnota.
