They're looking good.

Seems like it's the year of the cockerels again. Looks like most of the LF silkies I grabbed at TSC, I think a month ago are cockerels. Got 3 for me, & 3 for a friend. Our friend only wants one roo, so any extra are probably gonna be added to the freezer.

Yeah.. I’ve gotten a lot of roos this year too.
Last year I got almost all pullets.

Yeah. The year before, & last year we had alot of cockerels.

Still waiting for more birds to pink up in their faces. So far one of the Red JungleFowl I can tell is a cockerel.

Speckles, Kiwi, and Moonshine.

I am devastated to say that Cinder had disappeared a couple days ago… we have no idea what could have happened. She didn’t make it into the coop that one night, so we searched the property, and couldn’t find her.

RIP Cinder. Sorry @Chickengirl2671! :hugs

No doubt he would have been a beautiful cockerel.

The others are doing very well. I’m just happy I didn’t lose the only pullet. It seems, with my luck, I would’ve lost the only pullet.

Not sure what I’m going to have to do with all the cockerels.
