Oh they are lovely girls:love
Beautiful eggs too.
Thank you for updating the thread, often we get left hanging and never get to find out how things went:)

Your welcome! Thank you for the nudge! I read your comment and was like oh my, I need to get some pics uploaded! So far, they are excellent girls and super friendly! So much for the “Leghorn White Eggs” but they seem to be keepers! I had one double yoker the other day and it was huge! I felt sorry for her:bow

Hi there. Mine are finally 20 weeks. We got our first egg!! - I took a picture next to my buff orp pullets eggs.

These are the absolute best chickens. We handled ours a lot from the beginning. They are personable , curious, active, very entertaining- they fly like little partridge! There eggs are very very very light brown (creamy white ) and delicious!! Started laying about 19-20 weeks. Good luck!!!

Thanks all! I'm so excited for them to grow! I have five hens now that I'm getting rid of because four have not laid in a while even though they are only 2 years old. Can't wait to eat yummy farm fresh eggs again!

They might start laying again when the little ones do. I have a four year old chicken that hardly lays , a four year old that lays 2-3 x week but the 2 and 3 year olds lay pretty consistent. Don’t give up. Maybe they have a secret nest somewhere??
