I don’t think so lol or maybe once or twice a long time ago. IDK. I don’t remember. If I did, I think it was store bought.

I'd had a bite or two as a kid and never liked it. So I was a bit reluctant to make one a few years ago. I ended up combing through a bunch if recipes, taking what I liked from a couple different ones and making it into one recipe. It worked so I keep making it I didn't want corn syrup in it and it had to have a ton of pecans.

I never found pecan pie to be amazing. It's always just ok.

Perhaps it needs a couple spoons of bourbon on the slice!

Yeah, I agree, berry and pumpkin would be higher on my list than pecan pie.
