Pecked eye on quail

I got chicks last year, and this year a number of them turned out to be roos. There were too many in there and they got aggressive, now one of them had gotten his eye pecked pretty bad. It is scabbed by the front of the eye and not really open. I've separated him, now does anyone know what medications or treatments I can do at home? I have triple antibiotic ointment, and a number of eyedropper for treating redness or irritation. I have also eye drops called polymyxin B Sulfate and Trimethoprim Opthalmic solution, USP. Not exactly sure what its for. Any advice would be great, even on cleaning the eye with water. I will try to get a picture later.
