As much as I would really like to have quail as well, it is not happening. I have got way too much to do, just sorting out my chickens. Quail are really cute though and are probably easier to keep.

I know!! I have been thinking about quail... but I just don't have the space to keep them proberly.
As it is I am thinking of adding white Sulmtaler... my breeder friend Eva would give me a breeding group. And we would be working together to keep more breeding groups and sharing animals for fresh blood. There are also other white Sulmtaler breeders that would be working with us. So I am considering if I want to do it. I will make up my mind in summer after I hatched and raised the chicks if it is do-able (I want to raise more chicks this coming season).

That would be really cool!! Wish you luck. The chicks are moving into the Coop this weekend, it's getting too crowded for them now. I have a lower perch installed in the coop, so should be enough room for them all to perch on at night.

I have send @Papa John59 a personal message a month or 2 ago. But didn’t get any reply. I do hope he is getting better now or if not I hope he wants to share some of the good and the bad. I always liked his spirit and contributions.
