Sadly, no, but then again I have not attempted to contact them again.

Ok, so today I had to go to visit my doctor. Flu shot. As we shook hands, he inquired about my wrapped finger, so I had to tell him. Well hold on for the shot, let's look at this finger. I should have gone to the hospital and gotten it stitched up. But it is healing well and not infected. Then I got a "talking to" about not playing doctor! I agreed, but tbh, I doubt it

My daughter, her boyfriend and myself are all going to go! I'm going for the 2 day ticket because they can only do Sunday. My daughter is in Kiel, studying and is back on that Saturday. I don't think one day is enough for my chicken hobby! Nice to know Sussex breeders are also showing!

I am still debating if I should go to Alsfeld. My mother is celebrating her 85th birthday on Saturday. I need to be back early. Sunday I can't go as I have other plans. I really would like to go though.

Well I can't believe my luck, that there is finally a big chicken show in Freiburg to go to. The closest Verein to me is this one https://www.kleintierzuchtverein-umkirch.com/ I might go and check them out. They have a small show there this long weekend!! I've been thinking of joining them for a while now. Maybe next year when I get proper Light Sussex. I read some article from a couple of years back in the Badische Zeitung, there was a girl there breeding light Sussex but I think they were dwarf light Sussex..so not really for me.

Joining a club would be a good thing... breeding or not. You get your immunizations cheaper... and they are mandatory. You can get a high fine if you don't immunize your chickens every 6 weeks for Newcastle.
Looks like a pretty big club. Wonderful website and animals.
Enjoy your chicken weekend!! You might actually be able to purchase animals. Now is the time for breeders to sell what they don't need. Oh.. pictures please!!!
