Peeps in Europe!

oh this is funny... I was considering quail as well. But I think butchering is a lot of work for very little meat. If you do, let me know how it works out!!

My young brown pullet just started laying!! Yeah! She was 19 weeks on Friday, so I just got a second of advent egg. :wee

Welcome, those are pretty looking chickens you have there. I started keeping 5 chickens a year and a half ago, now I have 9. It's very addictive. lol
Chicken math is no mystery to me anymore i am already planning for more pullets this spring and getting more and more interrested about meat birds:lau

Hi folks!
Yesterday I had the experience of taking a trip to Hannover for the "Jungtiergeflügelschau"...young poultry show. My neighbor took her chickens there to hopefully get the color orpington she created officially added. We all hope she'll make it this year.
It was huge! Everybody bringing their animals in. It was quite exciting! Can't wait for next year when I get to (hopefully) take mine to show.

Hi chicken lovers from all across EU. Just discovered this thread.

Amazing how well you all write in English.

I’m from the Netherlands as you may have ‘guessed’. It was too much effort to read the whole thread. Maybe I catch up later. Some of you I encountered before in other threads.

I have a flock of tiny bantams for tastefull biological eggs and a bit of fun.

I can’t contribute in experience with medicines. But I do know about not using medicines and keeping a healthy flock. :fl
