Peeps in Europe!

It's day 18 for my eggs, so I will be candling them one last time today before lockdown tomorrow. Fingers crossed the 18 eggs will all be good to go! :jumpy

oh... I can't wait to see the little chicks....
How does one manage to survive 3 weeks of waiting? One day has gone by...only one!! I am sure with more hatchings you get used to it. But at the moment... :barnie

:lau I used to be exactly like that! 21 days seemed like ages when you first start incubating. Bet you're always checking them too! Like watching grass grow...lol Anyway you'll be candling 76 eggs in 6 days!!!
I know right!? I guess I am in there checking them 3 or 4 times a day!
And no... there are 77 eggs. I got another egg in the afternoon and my husband said... go ahead, put it in too. So I did! I guess I'll be really busy, won't I?

Today I ended up breaking a freshly laid egg (not from the hatch)... I am so sad and upset with myself. Yes, it happens...it's not the first egg breaking in my life. But I guess seeing the chickens lay the eggs makes it more sad and upsetting.

I know what i am going to hatch this year :weeit will be Dutch Booted bantams View attachment 2012461picture of the internet to show you what birds and in which colors.
