I just read this article about the village Barneveld , famous for it’s chickens, on levendehave.nl. Nice to know: Barneveld has a real chicken museum, Maybe interesting yo visit if you come to the Netherlands this summer (now closed bc of Covid).

STRATEN IN BARNEVELDSE WIJK VERNOEMD NAAR KIPPENRASSEN

The streets in a new neighborhood in the chicken village of Barneveld are named after foreign chicken breeds. Previously, Dutch chicken breeds were honored with a street name.

In the district with the foreign breeds, there are a total of twelve streets. Initially, sixteen streets were to be named after a breed of chickens, but there was protest against this. A line went through Araucanalaan, Australorplaan, Faverollelaan and Sebrightlaan. Reason: almost impossible to pronounce. According to the street names committee: Anconalaan, Orlofflaan, Tusolaan, Bankivalaan, Langshanlaan, Wyandottelaan, Zijdehoenlaan, Orpingtonlaan, Minorcalaan, Rijnlanderlaan, Brahmalaan, Cochinlaan, Chabolaan, Phoenixlaan, Dorkinglaan and Bresselaan.

The Poultry Museum in Barneveld has responded to this. From mid-March to mid-November this year, all foreign fowl breeds for which an avenue is named after in the Veller district can be seen. “That led to some detective work. Some of the foreign fowl breeds that an avenue is named after are extremely rare. For example, Ancona, Dorking and Tuso are not everyday occurrences. Fortunately, the owners are willing to let the animals stay in the museum. Information boards will be displayed next to the varieties with information about, for example, their history and special characteristics," says Piet Kroon.

Any advice for young hens camping out at night? I can't find where they go, and am not here to see where the come back from. This is now going on a month and to my surprise, none have been eaten, so they are obviously well hidden.
Have you tried looking for her with a flashlight once it is dark. That little rascal!!! Catch her and lock her in the coop during the day.
Also you might want to find out if she is being bullied by the others or one of the others doesn't allow her into the coop.
