Pekin bantam thread!

Thanks Teila! They're very sweet and a lot of fun but I don't think I will hatch so many lavenders next time, selling the cockerels is gunna be tricky :/ I've noticed that lavenders don't sell particularly well here.

I got a porcelain Pekin trio at auction which are lovely, the cockerel is very good to his hens and even my chocolate pekins that he's now housed with so in a few weeks time I'll be setting some more Pekin eggs!

Has anybody seen a Choc Pekin with a full brown face? My wife picked up a few mixed Pekins this weekend and this hen was amongst them.

I have done a little research, but have not seen a Pekin with such a dark face.

Here are my two Pekins, Bully (by name and nature) and Eagle (as she looks like one)! They rule the Silkies, but are very cute doing it.
