Pekin Duck Club!

So I'm thinking one of my ducks is definitely a girl. She's a little over 3 weeks old and is occasionally making a low honk sound. Would this be indicative of a female over a male?
I would say so! She will quack more and more often soon more then she peeps.

My ducklings are growing fast. So I moved them out of my living room lol! And now they have a brooder twice the size and are in their own room. I saw pics from Yorkshire's links and have their food n water separate so its easier to clean but they stay right in that box. I'm a little worried, why would they want to be laying in the only part that is wet? I tried putting them in s baby tub to swim n they hated it! JM so confused!
Ducks will be ducks they like to be wet and near water. As long as they are not cold and the area is kept relatively clean of poop I wouldn't worry.

Hmmm... Skin conditions are VERY common in dogs. I was a veterinary assistant before having my son. It was the most common problem we saw. Many different things can cause it. Allergies being the #1 cause. It could be environmental allergies, such as trees or grasses. Do you have them on flea preventative? Some dogs are highly allergic to flea bites and just one bite can make them break out and scratch themselves raw. It could be a type of mange (mites). Most mites however are species specific and will only live on one type of animal (for example mites that live on dogs are not contagious to humans, only other dogs). And there is a mite dogs can get that aren't contagious at all. There's a lot of different things it could be lol! Do you have any pics of the dog? I might be able to give you a little more info if I was able to see what the dog and the skin look like. If you're interested anyway.

Well I guess I need to rename her then. Lol! Silly me gave her a boys name. I guess I can just switch their names for now until I find out whether or not the other one is a girl. If it is I'll have to think of another girl name.

How old should ur ducks be before you move them outside?

They should be fully feathered so they can regulate their temperatures better. Mine are five weeks old today, and almost (but not quite) fully feathered. They're moving out next weekend. They spend most of the day outside already.
